*  The Doll Museum *  

 

Ellaine has recently opened up her Doll Museum to the public for all people interested in porcelain dolls making and in viewing her many many dolls!

Ellaine Combs was born in Liverpool, England in 1927. She then settled in America in the early forties. Although a talented artist in oil paintings, her passion for over 50 years has been sculpturing and making fine porcelain dolls. Many of the dolls in the museum are based on her own sculptures and are one of a kind. Clothes are all hand made to the period of the dolls.

Ellaine will give you a tour of her dolls and discuss her doll making techniques with visitors and talk on dolls in general.

Admission cost is $2 per adult and 50 cents per child (accompanied by an adult). View by appointment only. Please phone 816 2296911 for all bookings and times available.
